Happy Holidays!

First of all, Happy Holidays! I know I haven’t updated my blog regularly lately. Thanks the patience from all of my readers if there is anyone left right now.

As you guys know, I have been back to Taiwan from Australia for few months. I just got my new job almost 2 months ago. Before settling down, I really can’t spend too much time on my blog. There is nothing to do with Wang’s leave.

I know I promise to set up my new website. That plan is still out there. Hopefully, it can become reality pretty soon.

Of course, Yankees always have ways to keep fans busy during off-season. There is no exception this time around. There are many moves happening and I haven’t missed any one of them. I will post my comments shortly. However, this post belongs to holidays.

After more than 10 years moving around Tainan, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Los Angeles and Sydney by myself, I decide to go back to Taiwan and stays with my family.

It turns out to be a great decision. I have been pretty enjoyed the time with my family. We have watched movies and worked out together. We all know it is good to do whatever you want when you live outside by yourself. However, you will feel pretty lonely during holidays and the days you are sick. Trust me on that if you haven’t lived by yourself.

My family is planning to celebrate New Year somewhere in Taiwan. How about you guys? Any plan?

Attention!!!

Dear all loyal readers,

I just move back to Taiwan and live with my family now. Because of different time zone and the rules of my family, I probably won't be able to watch any Yankees day game. If I do so, I probably will get killed.

Don't worry. I am probably able to watch night games for now. Since I have few free time, I will start making changes for my blog.

Thank you so much to keep eyes on my blog, everyone.

I miss you and will remember everything you said, Todd Drew

Talking about life. You never know what will happen next. That's why you always have to appreciate what you have. The preview post is about new born baby. Now, I write about the sad news about Todd Drew.

Making friends is one of main reasons for me to start blogging. Todd is one of friends I met through this blog. We have never met each other. I probably say this before. One of my wishes is to meet all friends from my blog at Yankees stadium. Unfortunately, I have to do this without Todd.

The last time Todd left comment on my blog was December 14th which few days before he knew he got a cancer, he wrote,
Todd Drew said...

Jessica,
The rotation is looking very good indeed. I feel this is going to be a Cy Young year for Wang.

Later on, he posted his last post about baseball and him on December 22th. If you guys have chances, please go to his blog(Yankees For Justice) to read his writing. I always told Todd he got incredible and amazing ability of writing. But, this is not the thing I remember him the most. The most I remember him is his upbeat and friendly personality.

I remember I told him I will regret not to be at old Yankees stadium at least one time. Todd asked me to go and not to worry about anything. He would get tickets and everything else ready for me. Now, I really regret not to go because I will at least meet Todd once, not because of old Yankees stadium.

I started blogging back to May 2007. At the beginning, one event happened and made me almost give up blogging. Todd encouraged me and gave the supports I need to keep blogging.

Rest in Peace, Todd Drew. I always will remember you and what you said to me.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas

I bet most of you guys are with your family now. Yankees certainly give all Yankees fans a big present for Christmas. Please appreciate every minute and opportunity you have with family. This is something is not easy to come by.

Thanks for reading my blog the pass year. I can't keep doing this without supports I get from you guys, especially when you consider my poor English. I am very appreciated. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything wrong, such as my English.

Welcome Yankees fans around the world

Hi everyone,

I just change the format in the comment section a little bit. I decide to let some new friends are able to express what they think in the comment section as even though they don't have account. The reason I want to do this is I really hope we are able to exchange what we think on this blog. Since I have been in different countries for those years, I really love to make friends around the world and understand your cultures. Please let me know if you guys have other opinions on this decision . Hopefully, everything will go very well.

By the way, I just check sitemeter and find out I have readers from Taiwan, the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, Croatia, Singapore, Lebanon, Germany, China, Mexico and other unidentified countries. WoW! I didn't notice this until I check. Of course, 53% of readers from the United States. Any other countries? let me know.

This shows me there are a lot of Yankees fans around the world. Thanks for reading, especially for my poor English.

Busy

I have been busy for this past two weeks. I actually think there is a good thing for me when Yankees can't get into the playoff this year. Don't kill me and let me finish my sentence. That is I actually can concentrate more on the things I need to finish in my real life.

Right now, life is getting a little bit easier for me these coming 3 or 4 weeks and then I will have another busy two weeks period again.

But, It doesn't mean I haven't pay a lot of attention on what happen to Yankees, such as Cano's trade rumor, Torre in LA, Hank's speech, Cashman' new deal, change of coach stuff?, etc. I will have those posts coming very soon. I actually plan to come up with some kind of plan for my blog regard of posts for this off-season. Stay tuned.

By the way, Even though I can't have so much time and interest on playoff this year, I actually keep my eyes on. This is the year I really hope a national league team will win it all. However, I start enjoy to watch Rays playing. It will be a very nice story for them to get a ring this season. Actually, I don't like Rays and Red Sox. But when you compare any team with Red Sox, any team will become much more friendly as well.

If Red Sox get into World Series, I hope Dodgers can get in. Let Manny beat Red Sox will be a good story for Yankees fans. However, If Rays get into world series, I hope Phillies can get in. Among those four playoff teams, I actually root for Phillies to win it all. I like that greedy and gutty team. and you? Of course, my most interest is to hope playoff ending as soon as possible and then we can get more news about Yankees.

Do you question every move Yankees' Manager make? I don't

Before going into this topic, I have to say this first. I am like every Yankees fans. I am not happy and feel frustrated when Yankees lose games. This is nothing to do what I am going to say.

Are you one of fans question Girardi sit Damon and Giambi and play Christian and Sexson? Are you one of fans always question and second guess every move Managers make? I don't because you never what would happen on the field if Managers did what you thought and you never really know what really happen behind the scene. Well, I think I try not to. Of course, I sometimes feel extremely upset and may lose my mind.

If you come to this blog to read these kind of analysis, I think you may feel disappointed from this aspect. You may say, "Well, You are a blogger of a Yankees' blog. If you don't write this and that, why bother to be a blogger?" I believe there are tons of blogs like that. For my blog, I just want to write positive things as many as I can and try to make my blog's readers enjoy watching baseball game as much as they can.

True story. I was one of producer sof one of play which include around 100 staff. One of main jobs I need to do is to be a good bridge between the whole staff and make sure everything get done on time. Unfortunately for me, there are two directors in that play as well. During the whole production, I not only have to do all the stuff but also deal with two directors that I certainly spent tons of energy on.

I always remember one thing continuously happened during the production of that play. Because I need to make sure both directors happy and keep things going to right direction on time, I always have to make up reasons when two directors have conflicts between them and force the production slow down. "You never really know what really happen behind the scene unless you are there"

Maybe Damon said "He is fine because he wants to show his toughness". Maybe Yankees want to find out what Christian can do. If Yankees don't plan on playing Damon every game the rest of season, why not let him rest on the turf against a lefty? If Yankees bring Sexson to hit lefty and don't play him against a lefty, when Yankees are going to use him? There must be some reasons for that. Giardi plays this game for a long time. I always trust, believe and respect specialty.

You guys are great! Thanks, everyone

I finally finished one important report and presentation. That's why I am able to post some posts recently. Before doing that, I realize two things when I read my own posts again.

First of all, You guys are amazing because you guys can understand what I try to say when I made so many grammar mistakes. Secondly, I have a tendency to update or post my opinions regard of Yankees too late.

Thanks for patience, everyone. Good job!

I will come back shortly for my thought on futures game, All star game, Dice-K, some updated news on Wang and 2008 Yankees season.

Let's go for 6

I can't believe it, but this is my 200th post. I want to thank everyone for reading my blog. I can't do this without you guys, especially I was frustrated at some incidents early on and almost giving up this blog.

I am keeping one eye on Yankees game because I really need to get something done by tomorrow. It seems to me Rasner start this game well and I am so happy for him. How scare we will be if he can keep pitching well for us the whole season.

By the way, two random thought. First, where they find so many lefty pitching against us? I hate seeing lefty one after another. Secondly, Webb just starts his first two innings against Braves by giving up 5 runs after starting his season 9 wins in a row. It leads me to think baseball is a long season with a lot of up and down for a lot of players, including some slumping Yankees, such as Wang, Pettitte, Kennedy, Jeter, Melky, etc. I have faith on them. I will come back for more. Need to do some works.

Man,you guys are amazing

Dear Andrea,ben,z,Todd,Carey,and some other readers

You guys are amazing.I haven't been my blog a few days and then find out you guys' word on the comments section. You guys can say I am crazy but I am crying for your guys' word.It warms my heart. This recall my memory of studying in California few years ago.A lot of Americans have great deal of passion which help me a lot, especially when I just got there and couldn't speak English fluently.

I remember how great the bus driver is when I took the bus first time in the United States.I know where I want to go,but I don't know how to say and where I need to get off.He is so patience and explain to me slowly. He help me to get off the bus in the right place.I never forget how great he is.In fact, there are a lot of bus drivers I met in the United States like him.I went to a shopping mall with my classmates one time and we miss the last bus when we left. One guy lead us to another bus station which is very far away from the bus station We wait.

Classmates I have in my class also help my English presenation a lot. They help me correct my grammar problems.I have more stories like this.My conclusion is americans are amazing. You guys give me courage to blog continuously.

It really hurts, sorry, guys,I may close this blog

Hello,Everyone,
Originally,I come to my blog for posting another new article until I see one reader's comment on "They are not on the best???"and "This is hailarious"I don't blame that reader and I respect everyone opinon.

You can't image how much energy I have to put on this blog, especially for someone whose English is not her first language.I have to keep checking dictionary for vocabulary and watch all the games on 1am,4am,or 7am.After watching games,I try to write something from my heart and I got somone who say to me "All the articles I wrote I copy "

For Taiwanese,we always review ourselves first when some thing go wrong. We don't try to find excuses for ourselves or blame others for that.Maybe that reader is right.I need a break to think about this.Maybe I did do that unconsciously.I read through all my articles and try to find the answer.I don't know even though I don't think I did.Like Wang's reaction after game.Taiwanese reporters ask him "Did that rundown effect your feeling? That's why you didn't pitch well"Wang said"No,I am the one to blame.I don't have command today.I don't blame any my teammates."
Wang said"We need and will work together to get this team going.I will do my best next time out"

It really hurts my feeling,Sorry,Guys,I may close this blog soon.
