Blog updated!

As you guys know, I just come back to Taiwan for a month. I have been busy at settling down.

At the same time, I have just learned how to design my own website. At the near future, I am going to have my own website to write about Yankees. So, please stay with me and keep eyes on my blog. As soon as my website is ready, I will let you guys know.

By the way, our bombers are so great this season, aren't they? I was watching Pettitte game this morning. Of course, Pettitte is going to say all the right things at the post-game interview. But, he will always have "what if" deep inside his heart. This tells how hard to pitch a no-hitter or perfect game.

Attention!!!

Dear all loyal readers,

I just move back to Taiwan and live with my family now. Because of different time zone and the rules of my family, I probably won't be able to watch any Yankees day game. If I do so, I probably will get killed.

Don't worry. I am probably able to watch night games for now. Since I have few free time, I will start making changes for my blog.

Thank you so much to keep eyes on my blog, everyone.

I miss you and will remember everything you said, Todd Drew

Talking about life. You never know what will happen next. That's why you always have to appreciate what you have. The preview post is about new born baby. Now, I write about the sad news about Todd Drew.

Making friends is one of main reasons for me to start blogging. Todd is one of friends I met through this blog. We have never met each other. I probably say this before. One of my wishes is to meet all friends from my blog at Yankees stadium. Unfortunately, I have to do this without Todd.

The last time Todd left comment on my blog was December 14th which few days before he knew he got a cancer, he wrote,
Todd Drew said...

Jessica,
The rotation is looking very good indeed. I feel this is going to be a Cy Young year for Wang.

Later on, he posted his last post about baseball and him on December 22th. If you guys have chances, please go to his blog(Yankees For Justice) to read his writing. I always told Todd he got incredible and amazing ability of writing. But, this is not the thing I remember him the most. The most I remember him is his upbeat and friendly personality.

I remember I told him I will regret not to be at old Yankees stadium at least one time. Todd asked me to go and not to worry about anything. He would get tickets and everything else ready for me. Now, I really regret not to go because I will at least meet Todd once, not because of old Yankees stadium.

I started blogging back to May 2007. At the beginning, one event happened and made me almost give up blogging. Todd encouraged me and gave the supports I need to keep blogging.

Rest in Peace, Todd Drew. I always will remember you and what you said to me.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas

I bet most of you guys are with your family now. Yankees certainly give all Yankees fans a big present for Christmas. Please appreciate every minute and opportunity you have with family. This is something is not easy to come by.

Thanks for reading my blog the pass year. I can't keep doing this without supports I get from you guys, especially when you consider my poor English. I am very appreciated. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything wrong, such as my English.

Welcome Yankees fans around the world

Hi everyone,

I just change the format in the comment section a little bit. I decide to let some new friends are able to express what they think in the comment section as even though they don't have account. The reason I want to do this is I really hope we are able to exchange what we think on this blog. Since I have been in different countries for those years, I really love to make friends around the world and understand your cultures. Please let me know if you guys have other opinions on this decision . Hopefully, everything will go very well.

By the way, I just check sitemeter and find out I have readers from Taiwan, the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, Croatia, Singapore, Lebanon, Germany, China, Mexico and other unidentified countries. WoW! I didn't notice this until I check. Of course, 53% of readers from the United States. Any other countries? let me know.

This shows me there are a lot of Yankees fans around the world. Thanks for reading, especially for my poor English.

Busy

I have been busy for this past two weeks. I actually think there is a good thing for me when Yankees can't get into the playoff this year. Don't kill me and let me finish my sentence. That is I actually can concentrate more on the things I need to finish in my real life.

Right now, life is getting a little bit easier for me these coming 3 or 4 weeks and then I will have another busy two weeks period again.

But, It doesn't mean I haven't pay a lot of attention on what happen to Yankees, such as Cano's trade rumor, Torre in LA, Hank's speech, Cashman' new deal, change of coach stuff?, etc. I will have those posts coming very soon. I actually plan to come up with some kind of plan for my blog regard of posts for this off-season. Stay tuned.

By the way, Even though I can't have so much time and interest on playoff this year, I actually keep my eyes on. This is the year I really hope a national league team will win it all. However, I start enjoy to watch Rays playing. It will be a very nice story for them to get a ring this season. Actually, I don't like Rays and Red Sox. But when you compare any team with Red Sox, any team will become much more friendly as well.

If Red Sox get into World Series, I hope Dodgers can get in. Let Manny beat Red Sox will be a good story for Yankees fans. However, If Rays get into world series, I hope Phillies can get in. Among those four playoff teams, I actually root for Phillies to win it all. I like that greedy and gutty team. and you? Of course, my most interest is to hope playoff ending as soon as possible and then we can get more news about Yankees.

It's over, but don't play blame game.

First of all, I am so happy for Moose for his 19th win. I really hope he can win 20 this season. When I was watching Yankees game yesterday, I can't help myself about keep tracking score of Red Sox-Indians game. I usually don't care much about what happen to Red Sox and only check boxscore. I was hoping Yankees was eliminated because of losing game, not because of Red Sox winning game.

I know there are tons of news about how poor Yankees have been played, how much Yankees should miss Joe Torre, how well Red Sox has played, how many players Red Sox raised from their farm system, how badly Yankees spend their money, how terrible job Brian Cashman does, how dreadful Yankees young players have been played and why Yankees should trade for Santana. Anything else?

But, I am not going to talk about this. As you guys know, this is a blog to talk about positive things. These are all second-guess. No one knows what would happen during any game. No one knows what would happen if Joe Torre was here. No one knows what would happen when you sign any free agent and draft any prospect. No one knows how young players would peform every year. No one knows what Hughes and Kennedy would do the rest of his career. No one knows what would happen if Santana was here. No one knows how Santana would perform the rest of his contract for Mets. No one knows if we really go after Santana, how many potential major league players or superstars we would give up. No one knows if we really go after Santana, he may end up in Boston.

The things I know for sure. We will have a great bullpen next season. Wang, Matsui, Posada, Hughes, Joba and Jeter will be back and healthy for us next season. A-Rod and the rest of position players will not hit worse when runners on base than this season. Joe Giradi will do his job better when he gets his feet wet this year, especially when you consider he well he manages the bullpen. All young players get one more year experience. We will have money to address our problems this off-season. What else?

Let's Go Yankees!

Do you question every move Yankees' Manager make? I don't

Before going into this topic, I have to say this first. I am like every Yankees fans. I am not happy and feel frustrated when Yankees lose games. This is nothing to do what I am going to say.

Are you one of fans question Girardi sit Damon and Giambi and play Christian and Sexson? Are you one of fans always question and second guess every move Managers make? I don't because you never what would happen on the field if Managers did what you thought and you never really know what really happen behind the scene. Well, I think I try not to. Of course, I sometimes feel extremely upset and may lose my mind.

If you come to this blog to read these kind of analysis, I think you may feel disappointed from this aspect. You may say, "Well, You are a blogger of a Yankees' blog. If you don't write this and that, why bother to be a blogger?" I believe there are tons of blogs like that. For my blog, I just want to write positive things as many as I can and try to make my blog's readers enjoy watching baseball game as much as they can.

True story. I was one of producer sof one of play which include around 100 staff. One of main jobs I need to do is to be a good bridge between the whole staff and make sure everything get done on time. Unfortunately for me, there are two directors in that play as well. During the whole production, I not only have to do all the stuff but also deal with two directors that I certainly spent tons of energy on.

I always remember one thing continuously happened during the production of that play. Because I need to make sure both directors happy and keep things going to right direction on time, I always have to make up reasons when two directors have conflicts between them and force the production slow down. "You never really know what really happen behind the scene unless you are there"

Maybe Damon said "He is fine because he wants to show his toughness". Maybe Yankees want to find out what Christian can do. If Yankees don't plan on playing Damon every game the rest of season, why not let him rest on the turf against a lefty? If Yankees bring Sexson to hit lefty and don't play him against a lefty, when Yankees are going to use him? There must be some reasons for that. Giardi plays this game for a long time. I always trust, believe and respect specialty.

You guys are great! Thanks, everyone

I finally finished one important report and presentation. That's why I am able to post some posts recently. Before doing that, I realize two things when I read my own posts again.

First of all, You guys are amazing because you guys can understand what I try to say when I made so many grammar mistakes. Secondly, I have a tendency to update or post my opinions regard of Yankees too late.

Thanks for patience, everyone. Good job!

I will come back shortly for my thought on futures game, All star game, Dice-K, some updated news on Wang and 2008 Yankees season.

about blogging

It's quite amazing for me to see many people blogging or writing some comments during the game. I have been tried few times, but I finally give that up.

First of all, I am so nervous all the time during game. How come you guys are able to concentrate on collecting the thought together? Obviously, I can't do that.

Secondly, I feel so weird to comment something when the game is not over yet. Is it hard to come up with a conclusion during the game, isn't it?

I don't know. How do you guys feel?

A Toxic Yankees fan..

I know, I know, I am still online. I am going to go to bed after this post. I was about turning off my computer, but somehow decide to go to Peter's LoHud blog again. Peter has an amazing great post about Yankees' 9-9(.500) record. He speaks my mind. I can't put in words better than he just did. Just in case, you must check it out if you somehow miss it.

Crazy Yankees fan...

I just finish some works which are due to today without sleeping too much for two days. Of course, I somehow find some time to watch Yankees-Red Sox games. I know, I know. I am crazy, but I think most Yankees fans are the same as me.

I have two more works to do before Monday, so I really need to catch some sleep right now. If you were me who didn't sleep for two days and watched Yankees-Red Sox series, you would certainly feel frustrated at getting news that Yankees lost to Orioles when you just turned on the computer.

There is something wrong in that 6th inning, but it seems to me that Hughes has an improved decent outing. Because Yankees lost this game, I don't think a lot of yankees fans will have positive reaction. Patience, Yankees fans. This is only the 18th game of 2008 season. After sleeping for few hours, I will catch on Hughes' start and figure out what happened while I start doing my other works.

By the way, I catch some interesting news from Taiwanese website regard Wang. I will post them later.

Check out these warm or funny stories....

As you guys know, Yankees play Virginia Tech as charity events later on. There are a lot of warm and great stories out there, please go to check these links as follows. Link1, Link 2 , Link 3. By the way, I don't think Wang will be there for this event, but Wang told Taiwanese media earlier he really wants to go for this meaningful event even if he won't pitch.

As special as today is, it's good day to hear some interesting and funny stories as well, One of post is about Andy Pettitte's "mysterious" elbow injury. The other is about a game between Hughes and Kennedy. Check them out, They are all great stories.

Great observation from Ken Davidoff

Go to check this great observation from Ken Davidoff, especially those two about Don Zimmer's comment and Josh Beckett's back problem. I actually like to read his baseball insider's blog because he has his own great insight into baseball. I want to warn you first, no everything in this post about baseball.

Damm… I hate this…

I have been moving around different places and countries the past 10 years. Because of that, I thought I am very good at making adjustments and getting used to new environment. As you guys know, I love new culture, stuffs and challenges. I got to Australia almost 5 months ago. One thing in Australia I hate and can’t get used to is how to use internet.

In Taiwan(also in America), you pay fixed fee for umlimited internet. You can do whatever you want no matter how long you need online. You even can use internet everywhere in Taiwan. In Australia, You need to calculate usage when you use internet. As long as you stay online and create traffic, you’re using usage. Don’t even think about downloading some music or films. The internet is so experience in Australia because their population is not enough. I can’t image what I can do once baseball season starts.

Right now, I even can’t use internet every day. For example, I posted these couple of posts at my Japanese friends home by using her internet. Sometimes, I need to write my posts in the word format first and post them once I get my chances to use internet. Damm… I hate this…So, please be patient and forgive me if you guys get to my blog and don’t find new posts…Sorry….

Is this kind of illness when I can’t live without internet?

I realize how terrible my English is

I just find out there are three different kind of spelling I have on my blog for the same word. Sorry, guys, I realize how painful or difficult for you guys to read my blog. Please don't run away. I am getting better.

Steorids... Steroids... Steriods...

OK, I corrected that already. The middle one is the right one. If there is other things wrong and you guys have some free time, please tell me.

Stay busy for Yankees' Bloggers for next decade....

OK!Obviously, the hot topic is A-Rod back soon.I am not going through that whole A-Rod's issue again.I stick to my words.I hope Yankees let him leave because all distractions A-Rod bring along with him.He only cares about his stats and himself. However,I understand Yankees need him(power right-hander hitter) and he is a great player on the field. The most important thing for Yankees front office is to have someone for selling tickets for new stadiums coming soon. Therefore,I won't disappoint at Yankees' decision. They have to do whatever they need to do.One thing for sure is all bloggers keeping busy for the next decade.
