Even though I believe, want to believe the most of what A-Rod says and will support him, I am wondering is it possible to trade away this drama King? I know A-Rod is a great player and we need his production, but at what point those distractions become too much for his teammates and hurt Yankees' image?
I know it's very difficult to trade him. If Yankees need to eat a lot of money to trade him(like Manny), why not keep him? However, I have a funny feeling this morning. A-Rod may not end up to retire as a Yankee.

How is A-Rod any worse for the Yankees' image than Sidney Ponson, Darryl Strawberry, Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson, etc. etc.? The organization has proven time and again that it only has standards when it's convenient. So what's one more transgression? He didn't even do it while he was on the team.
I believe Yankees won't bring A-Rod back after he opt out if they know this is coming. They probably won't trade for him if they know this.
Every corporation or organization tries to protect their brands. There are always somethings or somepersons doing somethings to hurt them. But, it doesn't mean they should care less and keep standing one after another. People won't care when he do that.
Don't get me wrong. Even though I am not big fan of A-Rod, I will support him as long as he is a Yankee. I am just wondering is it possible to trade him which I know it's very difficult and highly unlikely.
