about Torre's new book

Before reading the book, I don't feel comfortable to comment on. I don't think Torre does this because of money. He wants to express his opinion which is nothing wrong with that. Everyone has freedom to say anything he wants and others can make their own judgment to decide what they think.

Just a gut feeling. I actually think this may help certain Yankees players, such us Joe Girardi and A-Rod because fans may embrace them more.

I have two thoughts on this :

a) I wasn't likely to read it in the first place, but if Tom Verducci is involved, I won't so much as glance at the cover as I walk by.

b) If what ESPN is reporting is true and Torre talks about clubhouse or other private interactions between active players, that's extraordinarily unprofessional, bordering on gamesmanship.

How do you..as a grown man, gossip, or divulge locker room talks/activities to the public? What kind of guy does that? Why is this guy revered as 'Saint Joe' ?? He's cold, calculating, and callous. I don't respect him anymore. He was given a trip to the hall of fame by the Yankees with Buck & Stick & Zimmer running the ship and show. We brought him out of managerial hell/obscurity. I won't buy the book, I don't need him to further tarnish the Yankee brand, I hope he falls down a flight of steps! >:)

and Jessica...another spammer!

Thanks, danny. I did it.

I will comment on that once I read it.
